What We Believe The Reformed Presbyterian Church is a fellowship of Christians who humbly accept God's gracious gift of eternal life through Jesus Christ, His Son. We believe that the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, that God is absolutely sovereign in His control of all things, and that we depend on Him completely for everything which has to do with our lives and our salvation. We follow the system of church government called Presbyterian, believing it to be based on Bible teaching. We hold to the teachings of the Westminster Confession of Faith, and of its Shorter and Larger Catechisms. In our worship of God, we believe that we are to use only those methods for which we find explicit commands in the Bible for New Testament believers. Therefore, we sing only the Psalms of the Bible, without any instrumental accompaniment, in our worship services.
