Area Bible Studies

The Word of God is central in the personal and corporate life of the Ottawa Reformed Presbyterian Church. The outworking of this commitment is serious, in depth, personal and small group Bible study. Upwards of 75% of the congregation is involved in weekly group Bible study. These Bible studies each involve small groups that meet to study the Word of God in various places around the city and the outlying areas.

Our goal is to have 100% of the congregation involved in both individual and group Bible study. Our commitment to such study is an outworking of our commitment to our Lord Jesus Christ. His last words on earth are a command to His people to go into all the nations, teaching them to observe all that He has commanded us (Matthew 28:18-20). How can we teach what we do not know? It is God’s Word that will change people and nations. If we really desire to see such change, we must first be changed ourselves by the Spirit’s power working through His Word in our lives.
