Gathering our Kindling

Let's make a roaring blaze, aflame in the holy inferno of God! Bring on the kindling! Build a fire that will never die!

The fire is God's Word. Make it to blaze on hearts and minds everywhere. Build a fire in your life. Ignite your heart. Light the match of faith, and watch your soul become a roaring, blazing inferno. Bring the kindling. You've got all you need, right at your fingertips. Open God's Word. Feed on God's Word. Study God's Word. "Thy Words were found, and I ate them" (Jeremiah 15:16). Know God's Word. Understand God's Word. Be concerned about God's Word... what it says, what it means. Forget about what it means to you. Concern yourself with one thing only: What does it mean? Period.

Stand back. Watch in awe as your kindling erupts into orange and yellow flames. Let the fire of God's Word change, humble, and transform you. Know this from the start: Such transformation can never be by our efforts, our intellect, our power, or our might. Be transformed as God's Spirit of fire engulfs your heart and mind with His wisdom, truth, and love.

You are now experiencing break out fire! Today is the day. It is time NOW to break out from the sins, from the snares, from the so-called "safe Christian life." Never forget: Fire burns, but fire cleanses.
