Through sin, our identity as righteous was smashed and we became slaves of sin (Romans 6:17), BUT God did not leave us there, without hope and without God. Adam named his wife 'chayah' (life), not ‘vayamot' (death). She became "the mother of all the living." In Christ, you are new. You have received by the hand of God a personal identity restoration.
